Since 2009 ‘Tuned on’ sessions have become a regular feature in the Punch calendar, 7 years on these sessions are still reaching young people from the city of Birmingham, offering myriad forms of multi-genre music industry education and guidance. This year we opened the discussion again with our latest panelists; Dapz On The Map, Mark Wilberforce (#PA$$IONPA¥$), internationally respected DJ ‘Matchstick’ and The Playmaker Group’s studio manager Stephen. This diverse panel visited Aston Manor Academy music department ready to answer any questions the young students had and to discuss their experiences as active members of the arts. After sharing some great advice and words of wisdom with the students, we opened the floor for some all-important networking, allowing the young people to make some much valued connections.
