Harmonize

 mic

Harmonize is a singing and music making project that currently runs in a number of schools, youth centres and community venues across Birmingham.

Participants on the course and work with two leading industry professionals to learn how to write, produce and record their own songs which will then be recorded in an industry standard recording studio. A CD of these tracks are also produced for participants to keep.

Anyone can participate, no experience is needed. All work is taught by friendly, approachable and experienced tutors.

The young people who take part own the project get to decide on the genre of the songs they will work on, and receive help to write lyrics, pick beats, sing the song and record it. There are roles for those who like singing, song writing, producing music and even for those who have never tried it before but would like to have a go.

Please note this workshop is a long term project and we advise that a minimum of 12 x 2 hour sessions are dedicated to this.
