Simon backs Punch’s bold development aspirations with twenty years of knowledge and experience of the cultural sector. Instrumental in Punch’s transformation into an modern and award-winning social enterprise, Simon has been a senior manager at Birmingham Museums, a sought-after arts project manager and a successful local government consultant. He now leads on fundraising and long-term planning, supporting Punch’s future creative roadmap.

Between 2004 and 2011 Simon curated and wrote Punch’s programme of ground-breaking, music-inspired touring exhibitions, including Soho Road to the Punjab, Art of Afrobeat and Fight the Power. Joining the company in 2011 he led on the development of Punch’s 2011 Olympic Weekend success, Jamaica Live!, and project-management for 2012’s groundbreaking Music Potential education programme.
